Share the good news with you. Our PET plastic recycling machine was successfully installed in South Sudan. The customer in South Sudan, specializing in the production of bottled purified water and beer, was faced with the challenge of disposing of a large number of expired PET bottles and waste bottles.

To reduce the accumulation of waste bottles and utilize these resources efficiently, the customer decided to recycle the waste PET bottles and process them into recycled resin for reuse in bottle-blowing production. To help the customer achieve this goal, we customized a recycling solution and successfully installed a plastic bottle recycling plant.

Customer Needs and Customized Solutions

The customer’s needs were clear: to produce recycled resin from waste PET bottles. Based on the customer’s requirements, we designed a complete solution including washing and granulation. The specific recycling process is as follows:

  • Waschen: Firstly, the discarded PET bottles are de-labeled, crushed, and cleaned to remove labels, dirt, and other impurities from the bottles. After cleaning, the PET bottle flakes are clean and suitable for further processing.
  • Pelletieren: The PET bottle flakes after washing will enter the pelletizing machine, and through melting and extruding processes, they will be finally processed into recycled resin pellets. These granules can be directly used to produce new PET bottles, or used as raw materials for the manufacture of other plastic products.

Special Machine Layout and Design

Considering the limited space provided by the customer, we optimized the layout of the PET plastic recycling machine according to the site conditions. To make the best use of the space and ensure smooth installation and operation, we designed the machines to be arranged in a zigzag pattern. This design not only saves space but also ensures smooth connections between machines and efficient operation.

Installation and Commissioning Process

To ensure that the PET plastic recycling machine can be installed and operated smoothly, we sent our engineers to South Sudan for on-site installation and commissioning. During the installation process, our engineers worked closely with the customer to ensure that every aspect of the process was up to standard and that the equipment was meticulously commissioned. After weeks of hard work, all the equipment was successfully installed and running smoothly, and the customer was able to start producing high-quality regenerated resin.
