Bottle recycling plant projects have become an important development direction for plastic recycling enterprises in Bhutan in recent years. This case comes from one of our Bhutanese clients who has been operating a plastic recycling factory locally and planned to expand his business this year by adding PET bottle recycling and pelletizing operations. After multiple rounds of detailed communication with our sales manager Sunny, we customized a complete solution that covers the entire process from waste PET bottles to PET pellets. The production line has now been successfully installed and put into stable operation.

Client Background and Needs

The client from Bhutan has been engaged in plastic recycling for many years. As the local recycling system improves and the market demand for recycled PET pellets continues to rise, the client planned to introduce a PET bottle recycling plant. The goal was to process locally collected PET bottles and produce clean, high-quality recycled PET pellets for sale or internal use.

The client’s key requirements included:

• A 500 kg/h PET bottle washing line
• A 3–4 ton/day PET flakes pelletizing line
• A full process solution covering shredding, washing, sorting, and pelletizing
• Installation support and technical guidance for smooth implementation

Customized Production Solution

After understanding the client’s needs, our sales manager Sunny designed a complete and practical PET bottle recycling plant solution. It consisted of two main systems:

500 kg/h PET Bottle Washing Line

This includes conveyors, a label remover, a crusher, a friction washer, a hot washing tank, an air separating system, a dewatering machine, and a full set of conveyors. The line completes the full process from feeding to washing and drying PET flakes.

3–4 Ton/Day PET Pelletizing Line

This includes the SL-110 pelletizing machine together with cooling tank, pellet cutter, vibrating screen, storage silo, mixers, and other accessories. The system ensures stable and efficient PET pellet production.

The overall solution was designed to meet the client’s current capacity requirements while allowing room for future expansion.

Bottle Recycling Plant Production and Test Run

After the solution was confirmed, the client paid the deposit according to the contract, and our factory immediately started production. All equipment was manufactured on schedule, followed by complete test runs, including:

• Washing line operating tests
• Temperature control, pelletizing, and output tests for the pelletizing line
• Conveyor and control system integration

All results met the required standards. The bottle recycling plant was then prepared for packaging and shipment.

On-Site Installation and Commissioning

To ensure smooth start-up, we dispatched engineers to Bhutan for on-site installation. Their responsibilities included:

• Positioning and installing all equipment
• Electrical wiring and control system setup
• Full production line commissioning
• Training local operators

With close cooperation between both sides, the PET recycling and pelletizing line has now been fully installed and is operating normally.

Project Results

The bottle recycling plant in Bhutan has now achieved:

• Stable PET bottle washing capacity
• Continuous production of high-quality PET recycled pellets
• Efficient use of local recycling resources
